A simple explanation about prop 8

Prop 8, volley ball, and Halloween!

My mom has been taking me to all of the prop 8 get togethers to hold up signs at intersections. It has been allot of hard work. Last night for mutual they canceled what we had planned to do and had us all do prop 8 phone calls. I have to say it's not my favorite thing in the world. But I hope we did some good. I kind of feel like we didn't do much because the people who are already voting no will still vote no and the people that are going to vote yes will still vote yes. But I'll do whatever they ask of me.

Volley ball is going great. I have less then 2 weeks of practice and only 2 more games. I'm sad. I sure hope I'll be able to play for the high school.

I can't believe how quickly this year has gone by. Halloween is tomorrow! I'll let you know what I'm going to be then. I'm still not even quiet sure what I'll be. I'm making something really cool for the kids to. But it's a surprise so I can't tell you! :D

I'm learning how to be a good cook.

This morning I asked my mom to make me some crepes. (crepes are pancakes that are extremely thin.) She said that she didn't have the time but she could get me the recipe for it so I could make it. So I tried it out. They turned out great!

They tasted great with cool whip.

Baby Sitting

My parents went out with Brother and Sister Gibson and they put me in charge of watching the girls. I asked them what they wanted to do and they all wanted to have a fashion show. So when they were in the school room playing Apples to Apples I was in my room laying out all my shoes and dresses. Their faces were so cute when they saw everything. It was like Christmas! They each picked out an outfit and a pair of shoes and slipped them on over their clothes.

Getting ready. Of course I worked the curling iron for them but they are just posing in this picture.

VOTE YES on prop 8

Please vote YES on prop 8. I don't want to be taught that in school. If you know anyone that will be out of town during voting season tell them to get an absentee ballot.

Not a Good Cook

It looks soooo good right?
IT'S ROCK HARD!!! It's so tough I have to soak it in milk before I can bite it.

Yard Work

I know how much Sister Henshaw loves hearing about all the boring things that happen in my life so here are one of the boring things that happen in my life.

Doesn't this face belong in a magazine?

Primary Program

Last Sunday we had the primary program. It was so cute watching everyone sing and say there little parts to the congregation. Everyone did great. Landon was really funny to. When he was younger he never would get up and say his part because he was frightened. But yesterday he stood up and said his part. He talked faster then I have ever heard anyone talk before, but he did a great job and has made TONS of progress. I'm so happy for him.
Sorry I haven't been blogging that often anymore. Nothing really interesting has been happening lately round ere. But we're starting to get into the holidays so you should start seeing more posts around the end of October.

Wedding

Last night we had a wedding in the family. It went till almost midnight. It was a 2-3 hour drive there. (you can imagine what time we got home) But it was fun other then the fact that it was raining when they did the ceremony.

Well I had my volley ball game 2 weeks ago. We won! I can't remember the score though. Then last Friday I had another game. We lost. It was a close game though. I think we lost because on the 3rd round he didn't sub anyone out. Everyone was so tense throughout the game to. But here are some pictures from the wedding.

I don't have any better picture of them together so this will have to do.
