Girls Camp

I just got back from Girls Camp yesterday. It was a shorter girls camp this year then the last. I had allot of fun. I went rock climbing on a 70 ft. rock wall. Up at the top there is a zip-line. They hooked me up to it and then I got a running start and jumped off. The zip-line went across the whole camp. It was probably about the size of a football field. I don't have any pictures but I do know a friend who took pictures so I'll try to get some from her camera so I can put them up on the blog. My testimony grew so much while I was at camp this year. I can't believe how much work my camp leaders have put into camp this year. While everyone was rock climbing I overheard Sis. Barlow and someone else already planning for next year! Being a camp director is a full time job. I thank her and everyone else that helped plan and prepare for camp this year. I also would like to thank my YW leaders for putting so much time and energy into enriching my life and my testimony in the church. That means you to Sister Henshaw.

School

Sorry I've been such a slacker on the blog. It only felt like a day or two but then I looked at the dates and reolised it had been alot longer then just two days.
Young Womens is going great. I'll be a myamaid on Dec. 27th. It's funny. I've waited my whole life to be in YW and now it's going by way to fast! Girls camp is on the 20th-23rd. Were not going to Camp Condor this year. This will be my 3rd year of girls camp. Technically 2 years but I went to girls camp in Utah already this year so they bumped me up a year. I don't think I start seminary this year.
School is doing OK to. I'll be in both 8th and 9th grade. 8th in my math, history, and science. 9th grade in my gum, composition, literature, and spelling. So basically all my Language. My favorite subject would probably have to be Literature because of how easy and enjoyable it is. I also like math but I'm not that great at it.
I love this picture Sister Brooks took of me I just had to post it. Although she already posted it on her blog. I'm weird like that.

Me and my great friend Resa.

Talk about over the hill...

My dad turned 50 on July 17th. Brother Darley just turned 50 to so they had a double B-day party. It wasn't anything big. We just had the Darleys over and had cake and ice creme. Sister Henshaw taught me how to make an Ice Creme Cake Roll. So I tried it out. It was a little tricky rolling it but I think they both turned out pretty good. They tasted phenomenal! Thank You Sister Henshaw!

New Faucet!

Old FaucetOur old faucet leaked really badly. In order to turn off the sink completely we had to find its sweet spot. It always took a long time to turn it off and near the end of it's life it wouldn't stop leaking at all. So we finally got rid of it and bought a new one.

New Faucet

This is our new faucet. It works great and best of all it doesn't leak! As you can tell, we use it allot. There are already dishes in the dish drainer. The head of the faucet can be pulled down which makes it really convenient for doing big pots and pans.
