OK, so I got a little carried away....

I have wanted a set of pillows for some time now. For Young womens we were going to be sewing purses but I wanted to sew a set of pillows for my bed in stead. So I brought my own fabric and stuffing. I only was able to start one pillow at young womens. It was one of the small ones. When I got home I finished it and just, well, kept going. I got carried away and sewed 2 pillow cases, to medium sized pillows, 2 small ones, and a circle pillow just to complete my collection. I'm not much of a decorative person but I was kinda bored and wanted to just do something crafty. I'm a very crafty person! :P But If I really got crafty my house would be burned down by now. Oh! By the way, we have most of our house fixed and all through with the fire. But, My mom still hasn't found her perfect colors yet. Help her please cause I'm getting a little impatient. I don't want any memory of that fire. LOL!


I'm probably just going to use them 3 or 4 times then put them in the black hole. (the garage)

Braces again.

I hate em. I haven't been to the orthodontics for a while so I scheduled an app. for today. They are going to take an impression of my lower teeth. Then The next app. they will put them on. Please tell me that you had braces to so I'm not alone in my whose. LOL!

Also Since I haven't been to the orthodontics in so long that one of my wires came out of the thing that holds it in place. That's mainly why I'm going. Otherwise I probably would have delayed longer.

Jessica is 17 years old. She's been cheerleading for years. It looks fun dosn't it? Except for all the leg braces they have to have on. Ouch!

Jessica's Nationals!

Ok, Ok, I just can't keep it from you any longer. She won 3rd place in the nationals!!! WOW!!! That was her first nationals and she is soon going to florida and kanada for some more nationals. Busy Busy Busy. She went to Disney Land to while she was in town. I've got a bunch of pics and movies so be prepared to be looking at alot of different posts. I took pics of lots of different teams so you can judge by her costume which team is hers. But the movies are of only her team.

Family in town!

We went to go see my cousin compete in a national cheer leading thing up in Anaheim. I have no clue how to spell it. It went through for 2 days just canceling out teams and such. But, just to make some suspense I'll post pics and movies later. I'll also tell you how well she did out of the whole nation! I'm also waiting for enough time to do it. She comes all the way from Washington! WOW!

The Dance

If I had to put that whole night into one word, I'd say it was BORING. At the begging of everything we were bieng taught slow dancing. But I think It looked more like slow standing around. The instructor pared me up with someone and we were the example. Well, I was the example. My partner was totaly limp. Then he let us go and I danced with my brother a bit. I felt bad for my brother. He thought we were going to do something cool like an electronic game night. But we didn't. A little later in the night a DJ came and he taught us stupid stuff like the chicken dance. My dad just happened to come when this rap like sond was on and he got mad. He picked me up and made me do the swing dance with him to show everyone "how to realy dance." That was probably the most interesting part of the night. So you can imagine how interesting the rest of the night was. Next combined is bieng conducted by the boys in the 6th ward I think. So we'll probably do something fun like basket-ball or soccer. But I think over all it was ok.

Updating Pictures

I love photography. I don't think I'm any good at it but I hope to get better. Yay!!! I found my camera! It wasn't lost that bad. I promise to be better organised and to not lose my stinkin camera!!! I got realy excited so I went outside and told everyone to come and let me take their pics. I didn't take alot but this is what I have. I My brother Logan took the pics of me. My silly siblings kept trying to make me laugh so that my "Sister Brooks pose" would work out. I had it alot better but I just couldn't keep from laughing so It isn't as "dramatic". I made their names the same color as their favorite color.

My Brother, A Decon?!

WOW!!! I'm realy surprised at how fast he has grown!!! He is 12 years old. We had a great family party for him. Unfortunatly I lost the camera. Last time it was the charger. How can I be so clumzy?! I'm realy bumed out that we won't ever be together in Sunday school. His B-day is in February so he has to wait the whole rest of the year untill he can finaly be allowed to come to Sunday school. By the time he is able to come to Sunday school I'll be in the 14-15 age group for Sunday school. Darn. This Wednesday is our combined activity with the YM and YW. I'm laughing my head off right now because he has been wanting to participate in combined activity for a long time now. But, the next combined is a dance! He and I arn't to thrilled about it. Finaly he gets to come to mutual and it turns out to be a dance. LOL!!!!! I think that they might be teaching us how to dance or something like that. I still can't believe that he just turned 12 years old. Next week he'll be passing the sacrament!

Rockey Road

These pics are a little late but at least I posted them.

This is our road during construction. Unfortunatly I didn't get any pics while the road was still horribly cracked and old.

First things first. The tragedy.

Since the camera charger was lost during all this I unfortunatly didn't get any pics. But Here are some of them now. My dad and I painted the wall. My mom is going to choose some colors for it. My dad took out the stove so we could paint and redo the wall behind it. I swear one thing adds to another! All we wanted to do was paint the wall. My dad is going to have to take out some of the sheet rock on the wall by the table because the smell is still very strong there. There is a pic of our new microwave to.
