Christmas posts are coming soon! But they will have to be in a few days because we have family in. Oh ya! My grandparents from Oregon came down here since we couldn't go there. So I'm gonna spend some time with the family while they're here instead of me sittin at the computer while everyone is having family time. But I'm still here so don't give up on me! :)

Loooong Mornin
It all started at 4:00 in the morning. Dad came into my room and woke me up. We were all ready and packed for our trip to Oregon for Christmas to stay with my Grandma and Grandpa. I hopped in the car with my blankey and pillow. We headed off for the 14 hour drive ahead of us. I quickly fell asleep. So a couple hours later I woke up to the sound of my parents talking. We were on a road that had a bunch of ice on it. My parents were discussing which road to take. One was a shortcut, but had more ice on it, and the other was allot longer but wouldn't be as hard on our suburban. So Dad decided to take the shortcut. We had been traveling down this road for a while when suddenly the engine started making a tapping noise. Dad slowed down and listened hard. The crankshaft which is usually tight and snug, loosened up and was knocking, which is really bad! So we pulled over and dad called AAA. We waited about 20 min. And they arrived. So then we started our journey back home. Another 100 miles. So now were home with no plans for Christmas, no suburban, and our clothes all packed up. So, no Oregon after all!

One thing leads to another...
It all started with Savannah asking me to put a clip in her hair. So then it led to me brushing her hair, doing a twist, another twist, 4 small braids, and adding a whole different clip. And it just wouldn't be finished unless I curled it. So here is the finished product.

Thanks Giving!
Sorry I'm late on posting. It's been really busy these past few weeks.

This is what Aven (Villa's big brother) would give me each time I tried to get a picture of him.
He also started throwing pillows at me. Apparently it was a pretty fun game. (for him)
I don't have many pictures of Owen (his brother, the oldest)because dad got him addicted to our racing game on the computer. So I didn't see much of him. DAD!
This is the only good one I got of him. No family pictures! How bad of me.

My Temple Experience
Like I said, we went to the temple as a youth activity. It was really fun. But we had to wait a loooooong time before we could start the baptisms. We were all in our jump-suits waiting for them to hand out our names. He handed me my names and I excepted them. Then I looked down at them and noticed they were blue cards. BOY CARDS!!! I walked over to him and said, "These aren't mine." He looked at them, then looked at me and said,,,,,,,,,,,"Yes they are." I made my voice really high and said, "No there not." He looked back at me and said, "Oh! Your right! Let me get you girl names!" I walked back to my seat and my face turned real red from holding back the laughter. Then everyone started staring at me. I couldn't help myself. I started laughing. It was so funny! He really thought I was a boy! XP

Nothin Much...
I know it's been a while since I last blogged. Sorry! Ummmmmm let me think of something to blog about......Well I'm really sad that Volley Ball is over. I went to the temple yesterday, no protesters. I start High School in January. We have family coming in for Thanks Giving. No one is sick and the weather is hot. I can't think of anything else to blog about. We had our gratitude dinner and the Evening of excellence. They both went great. Please give me some ideas Sister Henshaw! No wonder no one checks my blog anymore.

I had allot of fun. I'm going to try to play for the High School since I won't be able to play for this team. Can you find me in the movie??? I'm the only one with short hair.

A Long Morning
Every morning I wake up at 4:00 to take a shower before seminary. Then I get dressed and go lay back down to sleep for another hour. Then mom comes in and wakes me up. Then we leave to go pick up other kids that ride with us. Well because of the time change I didn't want my schedule to be thrown off so I made sure that I set my clock to the right time. So I woke up at 4:00 and took my shower. Then I went back to sleep. Mom came in and woke me up. It felt like I got a little sorter amount of sleep after my shower though. So then we started our rout to pick up everyone. Well we got to the first door and knocked. No answer. So we waited for a bit then we left to go get the second person. He didn't answer the door either! We were running late already so we figures they just found another way to get to seminary. I got there and Brother Baker opens the door and says, "Your here early." I said, "Don't rub it in." (because I thought I was 20 minutes late.) He then said, "No, I'm not kidding! Your over an hour early!" My mom forgot to change her alarm an hour ahead. I called her and told her to go pick up the others for seminary. Poor mom. She was so tired the rest of the day. So while I was waiting for class to start I went in and set out the tables and chairs for class. It was a long wait and I couldn't get myself to take a nap. Honestly, I can't even remember what the lesson was on because I was so tired. But hopefully I'll get there ON time tomorrow.

Prop 8, volley ball, and Halloween!
My mom has been taking me to all of the prop 8 get togethers to hold up signs at intersections. It has been allot of hard work. Last night for mutual they canceled what we had planned to do and had us all do prop 8 phone calls. I have to say it's not my favorite thing in the world. But I hope we did some good. I kind of feel like we didn't do much because the people who are already voting no will still vote no and the people that are going to vote yes will still vote yes. But I'll do whatever they ask of me.
Volley ball is going great. I have less then 2 weeks of practice and only 2 more games. I'm sad. I sure hope I'll be able to play for the high school.
I can't believe how quickly this year has gone by. Halloween is tomorrow! I'll let you know what I'm going to be then. I'm still not even quiet sure what I'll be. I'm making something really cool for the kids to. But it's a surprise so I can't tell you! :D

I'm learning how to be a good cook.
This morning I asked my mom to make me some crepes. (crepes are pancakes that are extremely thin.) She said that she didn't have the time but she could get me the recipe for it so I could make it. So I tried it out. They turned out great!
They tasted great with cool whip.

Primary Program
Last Sunday we had the primary program. It was so cute watching everyone sing and say there little parts to the congregation. Everyone did great. Landon was really funny to. When he was younger he never would get up and say his part because he was frightened. But yesterday he stood up and said his part. He talked faster then I have ever heard anyone talk before, but he did a great job and has made TONS of progress. I'm so happy for him.
Sorry I haven't been blogging that often anymore. Nothing really interesting has been happening lately round ere. But we're starting to get into the holidays so you should start seeing more posts around the end of October.

Wedding
Last night we had a wedding in the family. It went till almost midnight. It was a 2-3 hour drive there. (you can imagine what time we got home) But it was fun other then the fact that it was raining when they did the ceremony.
Well I had my volley ball game 2 weeks ago. We won! I can't remember the score though. Then last Friday I had another game. We lost. It was a close game though. I think we lost because on the 3rd round he didn't sub anyone out. Everyone was so tense throughout the game to. But here are some pictures from the wedding.
Mother of the Groom (my great Aunt Chacha)
Junior brides maid (cousins)
The bride and groom
I don't have any better picture of them together so this will have to do.

Volley Ball
This season I signed up for volley ball at the old Oxnard High building. I have had a blast playing for the team and have come a long way in a short amount of time. The tournaments start at the end of this month some time. While I was at Mutual the other night I was talking to David about Volley Ball and he asked who I played for. When I said I was playing for pall he said, "Your going to be competing against my school team!". Our team actually has a girl from Davids school playing for us.

Happy Birthday Mom!
My moms birthday was Sept. 4th. We didn't do much at all except gave her our gifts. I think it was just Landon and I that gave her gifts though. Landon gave her a watch that he found on the beach and I gave her an apron I made her. She had been telling everyone (meaning me) that she wanted an apron that covered her whole Sunday dress. I was waiting at the Springers house after seminary for my mom to pick me up. When she pulled up she was in the Darleys car with a bunch of other Ladies. So I got in the car and asked, "Whats going on?" Everyone just stared at me until my mom said, "Well it's my birthday!" I had forgotten about it until just then. So right when I got home I pulled out the sewing machine and started making her apron. She knew what I was making because I had to make a few measurements and I didn't think it was that important to keep it a secret from her. She's was going to open it soon anyway and I didn't see the point in making a bad apron because I couldn't get the right measurements! So it was a fun day for her and for all of us.

100th Post!
I can't believe I'm already at 100!
Seminary started today. I set my alarm for 5:00am. I hadn't used that alarm clock for a while so it was still set to day light savings. I threw my clothes into the dryer and then went to check the clock. It said 4:00am. I went to check the clock in my mom and dads room and it said 4 to. So then I went back to my room and reset the time. I set my alarm again and then went back to bed. Seminary was good, we didn't do allot of studying though. We read one scripture and marked it then filled out a form telling more about us and what we like and dislike. That was about it. It was an easy first day. I got a ride home with Sis. Springer. (She teaches the seniors) Right when I got home I hit the pillow. I slept until 10:00 when my lil sister woke me up complaining that I put her stuff that was on the floor onto her bed. I am a really neat and clean person which makes it hard for any one else living in the same room as me. I think it'll take a while for me to get used to getting up at 5:30 but it shouldn't be to hard.
